The gunners are looking forward for their first win of the season as they travel to face the newly promoted Brentford. Arsenal had a poor finish last season and they will be looking forward to regain back their victory and confidence in the league.

Having new players in their squad, they look better because they have retained most of their players that were on demand.

Possible Squad

Starting with the goalkeeper, Bernd Leno is the preferred starter goalkeeper and his sub being Okonkwo. The back line may consist of Bellerin on the right, Tierney on the left while at the central back, Pablo Mari is expected to play alongside Ben White. Ben White arrived in London to strengthen the gunner's defence which was abit shaky.

Going up to the midfield, Thomas Partey is expected to return after picking up an injury during the preseason plays. Granit Xhaka who was on the verge of leaving Arsenal for Roma is expected to be featured against Brentford.

Infront of them, Emile Smith Rowe is expected to be the attacking midfielder.

The forward line of the gunners might be abit technical to consist of Saka on the right, Aubameyang on the left and Alexandre Lacazette as the point man.

Gunners will have an added advantage because of the squad depth that they have compared to Brentford. Lokanga and Tavares are also expected to be featured in today's match.
