1. Mason Mount Tussle With Ben Chilwell For The Ball In Training.

If there's one Chelsea player we expected to be even better this season, it's Mason Mount. The 22 year old England international has improved his gameplay massively over the last 2 seasons. At the moment, he looks a different and much better player from the one who make his debut under former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard.

In first team training today, Mount once again proved that he is much stronger on the ball than many think by bullying Ben Chilwell off the ball during a mini game. Chilwell tried to tackle Mason Mount and take the ball off him but Mount shrugged him off, effortlessly.

It was good to see, especially as Mount could be coming up against strong midfield rivals like Pogba, Partey and Fabinho this season in the Premier league.

2. Thiago Silva Back To Full Fitness.

After failing to make a single appearance for Chelsea in pre season and the Super Cup final, Thiago Silva looks set to take up his centre back spot in the Chelsea team this weekend against Crystal Palace. The Brazilian was one of Chelsea's best players last season as the blues won the Champions league under Thomas Tuchel. This time around, he is expected to be even better than he was last season and would play a crucial role if Chelsea are to challenge the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier league title this season.

3. First Team Stars Who Missed Out Against Villarreal Ready For Palace Comeback.

Some Chelsea stars like Reece James, Andreas Christensen, Ben Chilwell and Jorginho did not start the game against Villarreal this past Wednesday due to the fact that they returned to pre season training very late. And ahead of tomorrow's London derby, these stars are set to return for Thomas Tuchel. It's very likely that the likes of Marcus Alonso, Trevor Chalobah and Kurt Zouma would make way in the starting line up for Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Mason Mount for tomorrow's game.

Thomas Tuchel us expected to rotate his side, with some players coming off the bench in tomorrow's 3 o'clock kickoff at Stamford Bridge.
