Arsenal Considering a Move For Man City Playmaker

According to the Mirror, Bernardo Silva is facing an uncertain future at Manchester City, along with three other stars. It has put Arsenal on red alert, with Mikel Arteta, in particular, exploring a potential move for the talented playmaker.

The recent arrival of Jack Grealish could see Silva fall down the pecking order at Etihad. The former SL Benfica prodigy has had to share game-time with the likes of Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden during his time at the club and his situation could get trickier now. As such, he could be offloaded by the English champions in an attempt to balance the books.

It serves as a major positive for Arsenal, who are in the market for a new number ten this summer. The north London giants offloaded Mesut Ozil in January while Martin Odegaard has returned to Real Madrid, following the end of his loan spell.

Man United To Make Third Signing After Sancho And Varane

The Red Devils splashed €85 million on Jadon Sancho after pursuing him for over a year and immediately followed that up by agreeing a deal for Raphael Varane. The French man will cost United a sum in the region of €50 million.

Having already spent over €100 million this summer, it looked unlikely that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would bring in more big incomings. But Samuel Luckhurst of M.E.N expects a third ‘significant’ arrival before the conclusion of the transfer window.

The Mancunians are planning on making three big signings this time around and Heaton is excluded from this number.

However, the English journalist also added that the Old Trafford outfit’s emphasis is currently on outgoings. Meaning Solskajer’s side are looking to – and probably need to – offload a few names before they can think of making purchases again, especially ‘significant’ ones.

Kieran Trippier has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford. The English giants lack competent depth at right-back and have identified the Atletico Madrid man as a potential solution.

On the other hand, Eduardo Camavinga’s name has been brought up frequently alongside United’s as they hunt for a midfielder. Although Scott McTominay and Fred are reliable, it would be ideal to upgrade on them and the ageing Nemanja Matic. Camavinga is one of the biggest prospects in Europe as of now and would be a solid option in midfield.

All there is left to see is whether Solskjaer and Ed Woodward, the club’s executive vice-chairman, decide to sign one of them or a completely different player.
